In what had become a fifth grade tradition at the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School, holiday Peeps projects have been on display. The popular Peeps are set in a variety of scenes.
The high school recently hosted an anti-bullying conference and motivational speaker Brooks Gibbs. The school started an Anti-Bully group, which usually has 10-15 student participants and meets after school.
James T. Stone, 20, of Oswego, died Tuesday March 26, 2013, from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident.
The sun gave one of its seemingly rare appearances in Oswego County on Saturday afternoon as friends and family gathered on Engles Road to say goodbye to the four men who lost their lives in a car crash late Monday night. A steady stream of people walked down the hills on either side of the crash site until the road was packed. Many mourners wore T-shirts commemorating the young men who lost their lives.
