Section III Class A volleyball champion Oswego will meet defending state champion Burnt Hills on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cicero-North Syracuse High School gym in the regionals for the state tournament. Sandy Creek senior soccer player Kylie Hanni was named a Section III Class C All-Star for the third year in a row. Hanni has played on the Sandy Creek girls’ Varsity Soccer team since eighth grade and has served as one of the captains of the team since tenth grade.
Helen M. Bacon, 95, a resident of Meadowbrook Manor passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.
On Monday, a group of nearly sixty representatives from Brewerton and Fulton Speedway Modified and Sportsman race teams filled the Radisson Ale House for a planning meeting with track owner John Wight and Track Marketing Director, Cory Reed. Wight and Reed laid out their plans for 2014 for both Brewerton and Fulton and provided thoughts for further discussion.
