Fishing Museum Honors Volunteers

The Salmon River International Sportfishing Museum recently honored two long-time volunteers at an open house celebrating the museum’s tenth anniversary. Board president Mike Riordan presented plaques to treasurer Margaret Clerkin of Sandy Creek and curator Fred Betts of Phoenix for their tenacity and dedication in bringing the museum building to fruition.

According to unofficial vote results from Tuesday night show trouble for four legislators. Republican Louella LeClair has come up short in her bid for a new term. And, Doug Malone, the long-time representative of Oswego Town, is also on the short end of vote. Absentee votes will likely decide Malone’s fate next week.
