Fulton Community Theatre presents a February dinner theatre romantic comedy

2 across, four letters, a feeling that causes many comical complications. Josh (Donald Crowe) and Janet (Valerie Roscoe-Dedich) share a unexpected afternoon on a commuter train over the New York Times crossword in Jerry Mayer’s comedy to be presented as dinner theatre by Fulton Community Theatre at Tavern On The Lock in Fulton.February will see a mixture of romance and crosswords played in dinner theatre setting as Fulton Community Theatre proudly presents “2 Across,” a comedy by Jerry Mayer.  The play, which kicks off FCT’s 24th year, will run weekends, February 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16 at Tavern On The Lock, 24 S. First St.

Bishop Cunningham Visits Trinity Catholic School

 Bishop Robert J. Cunningham chats with students at Trinity Catholic School on Thursday.Bishop Robert J. Cunningham paid a visit Thursday to Oswego County’s only Catholic school. The children asked the bishop all sorts of questions, including “What’s it like being the bishop?” At the end of his visit, the bishop enjoyed an ice cream sundae with the youngsters. The Diocese of Syracuse is comprised of 22 schools in its seven-county area with more than 5,000 students Pre-K-12.

Road Closure – Detour Notification For Feb. 3

The Mayor’s Office has announced that J.J. Lane, the contractor for the on-going Combined Sewer Separation Project, has provided the following road closure/detour details for February 3. The road closure/detour will go into effect at 7 a.m. on February 3 and as part of the Consent Decree Project, J. J. Lane will be crossing the intersection of West Fifth Street and Ellen Street.
