Florence L. Rogers, 86, of Fulton died Tuesday February 11, 2014, at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego.
Lawrence J. Lester, 84, a resident of East Utica Street, Oswego, passed away Tuesday February 11, 2014, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.
The Oswego Rotary recently hosted Betty Dunsmore from Hospice of Central New York and Debbie Bishop from Oswego County Hospice. Ms. Dunsmore updated members on efforts in Central New York by Hospice. Ms. Bishop gave an update on the local Friends of Oswego County Hospice.

A free two-part workshop called Photoshop Elements for Artists will be offered at the Oswego Public Library on February 15 and 22 from noon to 3 p.m. The workshop will be led by artist and teacher Bill DeMott in the Library Learning Center.
During the school’s daily Morning Express program, students and staff – clad in red in recognition of February as American Heart Month – opened their wallets and donated money to the American Heart Association. According to Principal Jean Ciesla, the outpouring of support was tremendous, with contributors filling the donation cans with $150.
