Hannibal Senior High Band and Chorus celebrated Music In Our Schools Month March 18 with a concert in the auditorium. Under the direction of Shirley Terrinoni, the Senior Jazz Band performed three numbers.
Phoenix Instrumental Music Students Earn Several Honors
Students from the John C. Birdlebough High School in the Phoenix Central School District have recently earned several outstanding musical distinctions and honors. Twenty instrumental music students were selected to represent the school district at the Oswego County Music Educators Association (OCMEA) All-County Band Festival.

Fairgrieve Elementary Celebrates Music In Our Schools Month
Members of the fourth grade Glee Club at Fairgrieve Elementary School were recently recognized at Morning Express as part of Music In Our Schools Month. Students are led by music teacher Hope Lawton. The Glee Club is a great introduction to chorus, which is offered in fifth and sixth grade. The group performs at the school’s virtue of the month award ceremonies.
