Oswego State baseball sweeps double-header

The Oswego State baseball team kicked off its spring break schedule with a sweep of Franklin and Marshall College in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Chain of Lakes Park. With the two wins, Oswego improves to 4-1 on the season while the Diplomats fall to 6-6.

Tri-Oswego Triathlon Donates $5,000 To YMCA For New Youth Training Program

Recently, members of the Tri-Oswego Steering Committee presented a $5,000 grant to the Oswego YMCA for the creation of a new youth training program. The donation will fully fund a program geared towards preparing youth between 11-15 years old for entry in to the Tri-Oswego Splash and Dash held in Oswego on June 14.

Cub Scouts Hold Pinewood Derby In Oswego

Cub Scout Pack 809 had an Exciting Pinewood Derby. This event was held today (March 15), at Premier Living Suites in Oswego thanks to the generosity of the owner Patrick Furlong. Along with the excitement of racing, the boys also got a visit from Oswego Speedway superstars: Anthony “The Hawk” Losurdo, Stephen Gioia III, Camden Proud, Mike Bruce and Rob Pullen.
