Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station Unit 2 Shut Down in Response to Electrical Issue
Unit 2 at Constellation Energy Nuclear Group’s (CENG) Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station was manually shut down at approximately 1:45 a.m. due to an electrical component failure on the non-nuclear side of the plant. All safety systems responded as designed and the plant went offline as expected, safely and without incident.

My dog, Sheba, has been limping a little for the past few days and I was reading on the internet that I should try just giving her some pain medication on my own to see if she gets over it before I spend a lot of money taking her to the vet. I do that when she throws up, which she does every once in a while. I give her Pepto-Bismol and it seems to settle her stomach. Do you think this is OK

Gallery of Children Up for Adoption Displayed at CCC Fulton Campus
A gallery of photos of children who are available for adoption will be displayed at the Fulton campus of Cayuga Community College during March. Entitled the “Central New York Heart Gallery,” the display is presented by the Professional Photographer’s Society of Central New York State and sponsored locally by the Oswego County Department of Social Services.

Evangel University Concert Choir to appear locally
The Evangel University Concert Choir will appear in concert at Port City Faith, Oswego at 10:45 a.m. March 9, Pastor Sebastian Foti has announced. The EU Concert Choir is a 36-member vocal ensemble that is currently touring through Ohio, Virginia, New York and Connecticut.
