Robert Q. Perkins, 92, passed Friday afternoon October 31, 2014, at St. Luke’s Health Facility.
The U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division Band from Fort Drum and the Fulton Community Band will perform a free concert in honor of Veterans Day, on Nov. 15, sponsored by the Fulton Music Association. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium.

Heinz with illustrations by Maggie Henry of Oswego. Henry will appear at the free public program, which will begin at 11 a.m. at the station on Thompson Road in the town of Oswego.

UPDATE: The fire investigation is still in the preliminary stages, but the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
The Oswego Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire early Nov. 3 at 124 Erie St. One occupant was home at the time of the fire, just after 4 a.m., and was able to escape without injury. The home did have working smoke alarms that alerted the resident. No injuries were reported.
