The County Health Department is following New York State guidelines and working closely with local health care providers and contractors since receiving approval from the NYS Department of Health to close the Oswego LTHHCP.

I, like almost everyone, was sadden and troubled when I heard about the two NYC police officers who were assassinated last weekend. They were shot as they sat in their patrol car in Brooklyn by a deranged man named Ismaaiyl Brinsley. Our police officers constantly put their lives at risk to save others and most deserve our respect and admiration. Our families and neighborhoods are safer because of their work and skill, and many wouldn’t venture to put a price on the service they provide.

Oswego State Men’s Basketball Dominates Haverford

The Oswego State men’s basketball team kept defensive pressure on all afternoon in an 82-43 win over Haverford College in a Land of Magic Classic contest held on Sunday in Daytona Beach, Fla. Oswego’s 39-point win is its largest margin of victory since it beat D’Youville College 122-72 in the opening game of the 2012-13 season.
