Representatives of four Lake Ontario counties announced Sept. 4 that they were pursuing a nomination to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to nominate southeastern Lake Ontario as a National Marine Sanctuary. 2015 In Review: August – Remembering Julian Thomas Ross

Julian Ros was born on May 14, 2005. He was called home on August 8, 2015, at 3:30 a.m. He had been in the final stages of Neuroblastoma and had been in hospice care since early this year. Also, a public safety telecommunicator for the Oswego County E-9-1-1 center helps save a life, and fire strikes an Oswego landmark.
