On Friday January 16, at about 2:30 p.m., Fulton Police were dispatched to an assault in progress at 306 W. Broadway. Upon arrival, a home health aide at the location reported that she had been punched repeatedly, pushed down and choked by June M. Atkins, who was still on scene.

Judith “Judy” Stevens, 79, of Volney, passed away Sunday January 18, 2015, at home.
On December 30, Investigator Michael Batstone retired after 20 years of service with the city of Fulton Police Department. Batstone began his career in April 1994. During his career, he had several special assignments including a post with the Oswego County Drug Task Force beginning in 2001. In 2005, Batstone was promoted to the rank of Investigator where he worked on many of the city’s major high-profile cases.
