Oswego County Workforce New York recently held its first Training and Careers Expo for area high school students at the CiTi campus in Mexico. Juniors and seniors from the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, Phoenix, and Pulaski school districts participated in the half-day program along with students from the CiTi school.
At its meeting Monday night, the administrative Services Committee gave the green light to renting an ambulance from May through July. The rental period would cover some of the Port City’s busiest times, including the Bridge Street Run, according to Jeff McCrobie, fire chief. It will also allow the department to perform preventative maintenance on its other ambulances.

Unfortunately, what students in NY have been enduring for the last thirteen years is a snapshot of a tragedy.
