In an effort to ensure every child is prepared for school, the United Way of Greater Oswego County held its annual “Stuff a Bus” campaign on Wednesday at different bus locations around the county. The school supplies will now be divided among the nine districts in the coming days.

Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelmann announced the arrest today (Aug. 20) of Thomas E. Larrabee of 472 County Route 4, in Central Square. Larrabee is currently a Corrections Officer with the NYS Departments of Corrections and Community Supervision (currently assigned to Cayuga Correctional Facility in Moravia).

From the first time Allbritain appeared at Oswego, it was clear to the veterans at the Speedway that the young ace, “had it,” despite running his first three Classics from 1972-1974 with little fanfare and a best finish of 13th in ‘73.
