Reality Check of Cayuga, Onondaga and Oswego counties will hold a “We’ve Seen Enough” campaign on September 10 as part of the Oswego Farmers’ Market. The “We’ve Seen Enough” campaign underscores the necessity for changing how tobacco products are marketed in stores.

State Senator Patty Ritchie announced that nearly 4,500 waste tires totaling nearly 70 tons have been eliminated as a result of the recent free waste tire drop off events, held in Oswego County. Tires disposed of brings the two year total of tires eliminated through the Senator’s initiative aimed at protecting public health and the environment, as well as cleaning up our region, to nearly 40,000, which translates to roughly 560 tons of tires.
