The Oswego City Council has the important task this week of deciding what offer to except on the sale of the Cahill/Coleman building. This venerable old circa 1828 stone structure on the river at the foot of West Seneca Street has been in foreclosure and litigation since 2010, while it sadly deteriorates. I hope they will only consider an offer that will preserve the building. It will be good for the whole community.
On Sept. 8, at 5 p.m., Sonya J. Fellows, 29, of 3250 SR 69, Parish, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies for third degree grand larceny, a class D felony; third degree welfare fraud, a class D felony; and five counts of first degree offering a false instrument for filing, a class E felony.

As you know, this column usually dispenses advice about pet-related issues. We love getting real questions from real readers, but the truth is you are REALLY BAD at that. So, most of the time we make up pretend questions about topics we think are important.
