Congratulations Oswego Hockey – The Mite Before Christmas Tournament

Congratulations to division champions Oswego Rudy’s Mite Red (A) Division, Cortland White (B) Division, and Oswego Domino’s Blue (C) Division. All four Oswego teams played outstanding in the tournament. Oswego Minor Hockey Association hosted its 30th Annual Oswego Mite Invitational Tournament – “The Mite Before Christmas Tournament” on Dec 12.

Fulton Police, Dunkin Donuts Team Up for the Community, Supply Comfort Bags

Fulton area Dunkin Donuts owner Roy Clark and the Fulton Police Department are teaming up to provide comfort bags to kids on-the-scene of crisis situations in the city. The sling-type bags contain a small stuffed animal, a safety rules coloring book with crayons and a small package of tissues.

Cathcart Pleads Not Guilty to Manslaughter Charge

The Phoenix teen arrested and accused of committing a fatal stabbing at a party in Hannibal in October pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and assault charges at Oswego County Court on Dec 15. Markee L. Cathcart, 19, allegedly stabbed Sean D. Leonard, 23, at a party outside a residence at 99 Kellogg Road in Hannibal in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 24.

John and I discovered many wonderful surprises when we visited Ann Arbor, Michigan. John was thrilled when he found out that he could fly in a World War II C-47. At the Yankee Air Museum, he learned about Michigan’s contribution to aviation history. The airport is situated on property that was also the site of the Ford Motor Company’s Willow Run Bomber Plant that built 8,685 B-24 Liberator bombers.
