The New York State Department of Transportation announced that an open house public information meeting will be held regarding a project to rehabilitate Route 104 in the town of Oswego, Oswego County. The open house will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 14 in the Oswego Town Hall, located at 2320 County Route 7.
On October 18, a pancake breakfast will be held at Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 at 127 E. Seneca St. The hours will be from 8 a.m. until noon to support Hospice.
The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on October 25, serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will be beef stew, mashed potatoes, beets, corn bread, and dessert. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.

Members of the NYC Marine Unit are delivering their 68-foot fireboat, the William M. Feehan, to NYFD marine operations port at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The boat is constructed from steel recovered from the Twin Trade Towers.
