State Route 104 Revitalization Plan Presentation Cancelled This Evening
Mayor William Barlow announced the kick-off presentation scheduled for tonight at 6:30 p.m., has been cancelled. Bergmann Associates, the project consultants, who were scheduled to give the presentation were traveling from the Rochester area, and the weather forecast for that area in particular predicted dangerous driving conditions for this afternoon and evening.

Someone just told me that over the course of six years, one female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs, and over the course of seven years, one female cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 cats. She was trying to persuade me to have my cat spayed before she has any kittens. But honestly, if those figures were true, wouldn’t we be up to our elbows in cats and dogs?

US Army, NYS Militia Featured in War of 1812 Symposium
Audiences will hear from leading historians during the sixth annual Oswego International War of 1812 Symposium scheduled for April 1 through 3 at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 E. First St. “This area has been strategically important throughout American history, making it a major theatre of action during the War of 1812,” said Paul Lear, director of Fort Ontario.
