Several years ago, the Fulton Noon Rotary Club took on the task of asking 12 different organizations in the Fulton community to choose a month to make an extra effort to restock the two major food pantries in Fulton.

Award-winning singer songwriter, Scott Krippayne, will perform at Oswego First United Methodist Church on April 9 at 7 p.m. Krippayne is an Emmy-nominated songwriter and producer.
The Fulton Good Friday Cross Walk will be held on March 25. Walkers will meet at 10:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St. Walkers will take turns carrying a large wooden cross in the downtown section of the city of Fulton.
The inaugural Oswego St. Patrick’s Day Parade was greeted bright blue skies, temperatures that flirted with 60 degrees and a large enthusiastic crowd on Saturday. Clusters of parade watchers lined West First Street toward Bridge Street. Some of them staked out prime viewing locations a few hours prior to the 1 p.m. start time of the parade. The crowd was even larger along Bridge Street.
Michael J. Bardin, 63, of Fulton, passed away at Upstate/University Hospital in Syracuse on Friday March 11, 2016.
Mary Shoemaker, 91, a resident of Oswego, died Thursday March 10, 2016, at Seneca Hill Manor.
County Legislator Shawn Doyle gave his peers a brief history lesson at the March legislature meeting. The lecture was part of the celebration of Oswego County’s bicentennial. Helping the legislature commemorate the anniversary was Assemblyman Will Barclay as well as representatives from the offices of other state officials that represent Oswego County and various city, town and village officials.
For a variety to reasons – sometimes because we have taken in a mother and her kittens and the mother was trying to survive on her own and was never well-socialized, sometimes because we take in kittens that are just a little too old to socialize easily, we end up with cats in foster care who will probably never be happy as house cats.
