Early detection is perhaps the most important weapon in the war against cancer. In recognition of March as Colon Cancer Awareness Month Oswego County Opportunities Cancer Services Program reminds us that regular screenings are especially important for the early detection of colon cancer.
Each month the Fulton Noon Rotary Club invites two senior students from G. Ray High School to share lunch. The students give a brief talk on what they have being doing for the last four years and what their plans are. This month, Ian Devendorf and Emilee Hyde visited.

She also recommends that there be no blankets, crib bumpers or toys placed in the crib of a newborn.

But, the best way to learn a new recipe is to take a cooking class. John and I have enjoyed cooking classes in several countries and we always learn more than something new to cook. When John and I were in Seoul, Korea, we took a cooking class at O’ngo Food Communications.
The Oswego State men’s basketball team had its season come to close in a raucous Max Ziel Gymnasium environment 66-65 to The College of Wooster in the NCAA Division III Championship on Friday night. A foul call put the Fighting Scots’ Dan Fanelly at the line trailing Oswego 65-64 with 4.8 seconds remaining. Fanelly made both of his freethrows to regain an advantage and Brian Sortino’s last effort ended with a collision with a Wooster player without the sound of a whistle.
