Now in its eighth year, the mural project is a youth-focused initiative, with the design concept and implementation directed by local young people with the support of the City of Oswego, the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau and Oswego AmeriCorps.
Oswego Speedway will open for its 66th consecutive season of racing this Saturday, May 14, presented by Mitchell’s Speedway Press of Oswego featuring Kickoff events for the Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS as well as the Richie Evans Memorial for the Ferris Mowers Race of Champions Asphalt Modifieds.
As always, the success of such a large annual tradition relies not only upon the talent, entertainment, food, and other vendors, but also the invaluable contributions of countless volunteers.
