The Minetto United Methodist Church will host a free dinner on October 23, serving from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The menu will be Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, bread, and dessert. Donations are not expected but will be accepted.
The Oswego Fair Housing Council announced the winners of its annual coloring contest. Community Bank, Pathfinder Bank, and Lighthouse Lanes all donated prizes for each of the winners.

Oswego Opera Theater will present Mozart’s comic opera “The Marriage of Figaro” at 2 p.m. Nov. 13, in the newly renovated Waterman Theatre of SUNY Oswego’s Tyler Hall.

Carlo Palmitesso, 77, of Hannibal, formerly of Oswego, passed away on Sunday October 9, 2016.
