With the return of Godspell onstage February 17-26, CNY Arts Center announces new performance times to accommodate winter travel. Performances February 17, 18, and 24 will start at 7 p.m. to allow for earlier travel times on wintry roads and a matinee, February 25, at 3 p.m. has replaced the traditional second Saturday evening performance.

The panel will explore the causes and impacts of the rise of “fake news,” as well as what educators, students, journalists and citizens can do to promote healthy journalism and news literacy.

To reinforce British presence, at a strategic location, in 1755 Fort Ontario was constructed on an eminence at the easterly confluence of the Oswego River and Lake Ontario. In 1756 the fort was destroyed by the French and rebuilt by the British in 1759. Americans put the ungarrisoned post to the torch in 1778. The fort lay in ruins until the spring of 1782 when His Majesty’s troops, under the command of Major Ross, re-occupied the post.
