Becoming a member of our military not only gives someone a chance to serve our great nation, it also provides a tremendous opportunity to build important life skills that can benefit them long after their service has finished.
Entrepreneur Jeff Knauss, SUNY Oswego class of 2007 and co-founder of award-winning digital marketing agency The Digital Hyve, will speak at the college’s December Commencement — exactly a decade after he crossed the same stage to receive his bachelor’s degree in public relations. Commencement will take place at 10 a.m. Dec. 16, in Marano Campus Center convocation hall and arena.

Esperanza Hotchkiss, 28, had been fostering two sets of siblings ranging in age from three to 12 and on Friday (Nov 17) she officially took them in as her own.

U.S. Reps. John Katko and Tom Suozzi (NY-3) today (Nov. 20) announced that they have introduced bipartisan legislation geared towards reducing opioid addiction and drug abuse in New York and nationwide. The legislation, introduced in the Senate by Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), would limit the initial supply of opioid prescription for acute pain to seven days.
