CiTi Students Help Improve Trails At Great Bear

Students in the Heavy Equipment Repair and Operations program at the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation recently showcased their skills by helping a local wildlife area become more accessible. The students worked to improve a trail section at Great Bear Recreation Area by making it more handicap and wheelchair accessible.

Oswego Community Youth Orchestra Announces Annual Christmas Breakfast Buffet Benefit With Santa

On December 17 from 8 a.m. – noon the Oswego Community Youth Orchestra will hold its very popular fundraiser at the Masonic Hall, Lake City Lodge #127, at 765 E. Seneca St. Each time is a tremendous success as hundreds of people of all ages came to enjoy the delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet and assorted entertainment while showing their support for local elite student musicians.

Scriba Man Facing 7 Counts Of Sexual Abuse

On Monday (Dec. 4) at 12:16 p.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested Rodney McCormick Sr., 46, of 205 Middle Road, Apt. 27, Oswego (Scriba). He was charged with seven counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor. He allegedly had sexual contact with the victim being less than 13 years of age.
