Leo Amyotte and his wife, Mabel, residents at Morningstar Residential Care Center, were joined by their son, Gale Amyotte and his wife, Sharon, as they celebrated Leo’s 100th birthday as part of a special birthday celebration hosted by Morningstar to honor its residents that will be 100 years young this year.

At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Doug Stevens, introduced Dave Guyer, president of Mount Adnah Preservation Foundation. Guyer spoke of the history of the cemetery, which was founded in 1851.

The small park at the entrance to the city at East First and Utica street will be getting some sprucing up, thanks to the Oswego Sunrise Rotary Club. The Physical Services Committee gave a favorable recommendation to a request from the club for use of public space at Leotta Park in order to construct a pavilion and place four picnic tables. They will also do landscaping in the area.
