Karrie Damm, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County (CAC), was the guest speaker at the April 26 Fulton Lions Club meeting. James Sokolowski, Fulton club president, (above) thanks Damm for her presentation. The CAC is a safe, child-friendly site for the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse. Damm gave an overview of the CACs services. She also said that if anyone suspects that a child has been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused or neglected that they should report it immediately. They can call local law enforcement at 911, or the 24-hr. NY State Hotline at (800)- 342-3720. Further information on CAC is available at www.oswegocac.org or (315) 592-4453.
