FULTON – John “Santa John” E. Wheeler, age 71 of Fulton, NY passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at home with his wife by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Kathleen Wheeler; and brother, William Wheeler.
Santa John is survived by his loving wife of five years, Cynthia Green Wheeler; children, Tina (Ned) Vizy Wheeler, Ryan V. Wheeler, Victoria L. (Erik) Little, Jennifer J. (Chris) Tondeur, and Jamie L. (Richard) Curcio; Eight Grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Anita), Paul (Sue), Colleen, Marcia, MaryLee and Janie; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Santa John passionately volunteered as Santa for over 25 years within the Central NY area. He owned and operated Santa’s Leather shop for 10 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
