Local Musicians Headline Friday’s Entertainment at Memorial Day Salute

While 2 KOOL 4 SKOOL is a relatively new project, collectively they have worked with the who’s who of Central New York musicians, ranging from The Critics, Roosevelt Dean and Built for Comfort just to name a few. The band is composed of John Luber – Guitar/Vocals; Ray Furniss – Bass/Vocals; Himer T. Morgan – Keys/Vocals; Dan Morison – Drums/Percussion/Vocals and Jeff Germain – Harp/Vocals.

Morison, who is unable to be with the band on the 28th, will be replaced by Dave Burritt, a local man, who now lives in New York City, studied at Berkley School of Music and is the drummer with Peter Tork of the Monkees in what is called The Peter Tork Project. David is also teaching in the New York City area .

This will be an exciting performance. These musicians love to play and can generate excitement from the stage to the crowd. Their music is infectious and can fill a dance floor. Some of the artists they cover are: The Neville Brothers, The Doors, Steely Dan, Ray Charles, Delbert McClinton, and Santana – just to name a few. 2 KOOL 4 SKOOL features seasoned musicians whose versatility enables them to perform in a wide variety of musical styles.

The band performs on Friday, May 28th at 7 PM. The 29th Annual Memorial Day Salute takes place May 28th and 29th. For more information, please call 592-4486 or visit www.fultonmemorialdaysalute.com
