Lori Kowalski was hired as a commercial lines senior account executive at Eastern Shore Associates Insurance it was announced by Martha Murray, president. Kowalski will be in the agency’s Fulton office.

The Fulton Lions Club has announced that they will be hosting their ninth annual chicken BBQ Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fulton Polish Home to benefit the club’s Mary and Harold H. Dowd Memorial Scholarship.
The U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division Band from Fort Drum and the Fulton Community Band will perform a free concert in honor of Veterans Day, on Nov. 15, sponsored by the Fulton Music Association. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium.
Fulton Lions Past President Frank Badagnani and his wife, Fran, visited the Oct. 16 club meeting to share photos and stories about their recent adventure at Makutsi Safari Springs Game Reserve in South Africa. Makutsi is a privately owned game reserve in South Africa close to both the Kruger National Park and the Hoedspruit Airport, Frank Badagnani explained.
Bookbrawl.com, Music Instrument Covers, Ontario Soap Company and Party & Play Cafe have been selected as the four finalists for the 2014 Next Great Idea Oswego County Business Plan Competition- it was announced by Austin Wheelock, chair of the NGI steering committee.
