Fulton Rotarians Meet Pet Food Store Owner

Fulton Rotarian  William B. Joice, right,  introduced Dave Sturgis, left,  owner of  Dog Daze Bakery in North Syracuse.  Dog Daze Bakery is an all natural pet food store that has been in business for 14 years.  The business has grown from a table at the farmers’ market to a 4,000 square foot store located at 309 South Main Street in North Syracuse. David and his wife have developed and marketed many of their own recipes for pet food.   He explained the benefits of all natural pet food products compared to commercial pet foods.  He also explained the process and difficulties of getting your own food products approved in NYS.  Another project that they are involved in is “Hardeko Helping Paws Pantry”.  Hardkeo is a not for profit pet food pantry that the Sturgis’ started to assist individuals who need temporary help maintaining their pets within their homes.Dog Daze Bakery is an all natural pet food store that has been in business for 14 years. The business has grown from a table at the farmers’ market to a 4,000 square foot store.

SUNY Oswego's Artswego Performing Arts Series will present the innovative performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Waterman Theatre of Tyler Hall.The award-winning Gallim Dance will break the boundaries of contemporary dance in a display of color, kinetics and culture Friday, Feb. 18, in a performance of “I Can See Myself in Your Pupil” at SUNY Oswego.

Kush’s Winter Hot Streak Continues

Kristen KushWilliam Smith College junior Kristen Kush (G. Ray Bodley/Fulton, N.Y.) was named to the Liberty League Women’s Basketball Team of the Week for the 10th time this season by the conference office. The forward averaged team-highs of 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in a 1-1 weekend on the road.
