The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team cooled off one of the hottest squads around Saturday night with a 4-2 win over host Morrisville. Laker special teams played a pivotal role in the victory as Oswego State posted two power-play goals and a short-handed marker.

The Oswego State men’s basketball team fell short in its bid for the Max Ziel Basketball Classic title as the Lakers lost to Keystone College, 76-72, on Saturday in Oswego.

The Oswego State women’s basketball team used a balanced attack to upend Cobleskill 67-55 in the championship game of the Max Ziel Basketball Tournament Saturday afternoon. The win moved the Lakers to 3-0 overall, and the loss dropped Cobleskill to 1-2.

The Oswego State men’s and women’s swimming and diving squads combined to record 15 first-place finishes as each squad defeated Brockport Saturday afternoon. The Laker men won by the score of 124-99, while the Laker women won 127-106.
