G. Ray Bodley High School seniors are reminded that retakes for their Fultonian yearbook senior portraits will be taking place on Wednesday, August 18 at the high school. School Pictures of Rochester will be at GRB from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a room to be announced.
The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund awarded a $2,250 grant to Half-Shire Historical Society to purchase and install wood flooring in the building’s southwest classroom exhibit space.
Members of the Fulton Amateur Radio Club and the Oswego County Emergency Communicators set up radios and antennas for the annual Field Days, a 24-hour on-the-air event held throughout the US and Canada.
The Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning is compiling a list of events and activities to include in its “Winter in Oswego County†brochure.
The brochure will list tourism events in Oswego County that take place between Nov. 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011.
The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau has limited funding available for a final round of the 2010 mini-grant program. Funding will be awarded to not-for-profit community organizations that provide non-sectarian activities for youth during hours when school is not in session. Mini-grant funds are also available for projects that address the needs of at-risk youth and/or address risk issues youth experience.
The Oswego AmeriCorps Program has been awarded funding for the 2010-2011 program year and is now accepting applications for positions that will start September 1. AmeriCorps is a national service program that addresses needs in local communities.

Martha Powers, 69; of Palermo, NY died Friday at Oswego Hospital after a long illness.
