The Oswego City Police Department wishes to announce the following overview of the events that took place in the city during the weekend of Harborfest 2010 as compared to Harborfest 2008 and 2009.

We chose a sequence of photos taken as firehoses blew down the damaged steeple of St. Louis Church, the last moment when a symbol of the church stood in the city.
We also picked a handful of photos from the day after, which find some art in the rubble.

“Disney’s 101 Dalmations Kids” features a cast of about 60 area youth ranging in age from 3 to 17 and, is an example a case of a show being performed by children for children. This idea falls in line with The Oswego Children’s Theater’s goal of providing area children the opportunity to experience live theater performances.
After months of planning, the Fulton YMCA had the pleasure of hosting our fifth annual gala auction, “Accentuate the Y.†As always, a large crowd came to enjoy the evening and bid on hand painted and decorated tables. The event netted over $10,000.

SUNY Oswego-based RSVP will offer its Osteoporosis Bone Builders Program 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting July 20 at a new site, First United Methodist Church, 7111 Route 104 West in Oswego.
Crews worked into the night and were able to successfully bring down the remaining portions of the vacant church. Early this morning, the debris was cleared from the roadway and State Route 104 was reopened to vehicular traffic.
Fire hit a home in Scriba Sunday.
The fire damaged the home at 53 Maiden Lane, according to the Onondaga/Oswego chapter of the Red Cross.
Florence M. Treen Gibson, 80, formerly of Fulton, passed away Saturday at Oswego Hospital.
