After Nathan Wienk’s Guilty Plea, School District Decides Whether He Keeps A Job
Because Nathan Wienk neither admitted guilt to the original charge nor was found not guilty of all charges, the outcome of the court case puts the onus on the school district’s internal investigation to decide Wienk’s future with the school.
“It’s certainly a cause for concern,” Superintendent of Schools Bill Lynch said of Monday’s plea. “But I don’t want to get ahead of myself.”
Women’s Hockey Coach a Featured Speaker at “Connectionsâ€Â
Among the featured speakers for the event will be Diane Dillon, Head Coach of the Oswego State Lakers. Dillon, a native of Tonawanda, NY, completed five seasons as an assistant coach for the Division I Cornell University women’s hockey team prior to being named the head coach at Oswego State in 2006.

St. Luke Adult Day Health Care Nurses To Offer Free Health Screenings At The Oswego Farmer’s Market On September 17th
Nurses from the St. Luke Health Services Adult Day Health Care Program will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings to the public during the Oswego Farmer’s Market on Thursday, September 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The screenings will be offered at the St. Luke bus, on Oneida Street at the market.
