Michael S. Krawczyk, 49, of Rathburn Rd. died peacefully Thursday evening October 15, 2009 surrounded by his family, and friends.
Mike was born in Oswego and has remained a lifetime resident of the area. He worked as a pipe fitter, planner, and scheduler at Interface Solutions in Volney. He was the treasurer and a very active member of the Unite Here Local 701T. Mike was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying all activities especially hunting and fishing. No job was ever too big or too small and Mike was always there to help family, friends, or anyone in need. He will also be remembered for his wonderful cooking.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years Sherry (Blodgett) Krawczyk of Oswego, his parents Stanley (Kathy) Krawczyk of Oswego his mother Sandra Chalone of Minetto, his sisters and brothers Sherri (Bud) Matott of FL, Stan (Bridget) Krawczyk of Minetto, Amy Krawczyk of Oswego, and Richard Leonard of Minetto. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Louise Krawczyk of Minetto, and maternal grandmother Berneice Brewer of Pulaski. In addition to his family Mike is survived by his faithful companion Bo.
Calling hours will be Monday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Charles Haney Fund, C/O Hematology Oncology Dept 140 W. Sixth St. Suite 110 Oswego.
I am really sorry for your loss. We will never know why god chooses to take who is does. But now he will watching over your family and taking care of you guys!!
