This weekend it was apparent she wasn’t in this fight alone. Hundreds crowded into the American Legion on West Bridge Street to give the Oswego youngster some emotional support as well as financial.
He allegedly told police he was a volunteer firefighter in an attempt to get out of a ticket. Now, he is facing several charges.

Today is St. Baldrick’s Day in Oswego. You can help fight childhood cancer, a disease that has an impact on several children locally. The foundation will hold its annual head-shaving event in the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, 26 E. First St. The goal is to raise $75,000.
Superintendent Bill Crist formally present his 2013-14 budget proposal to the board of education at Tuesday’s meeting. The tentative budget, right now, is $78, 402,453. A total of 11.6 full-time positions could be eliminated.
UPDATE 8:35 p.m.: Authorities have released the names of the four victims of a fatal crash on Engles Road in the Town of Oswego. Authorities say it happened last night and wasn’t discovered until about 9:30 a.m. today.
