He took his case to court and his petition was dismissed. And so, he appealed in the Appellate Division. Now that the lower court’s ruling was affirmed, he vows to move to federal court.
State Police in North Syracuse arrested 46-year-old Kevin J. Blair, from Fulton. He was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd, a class “A” misdemeanor. Blair was arrested Friday after he violated an order of protection issued to his ex-girlfriend, troopers said.
The Salvation Army of Oswego County is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. It will be served at the Salvation Army of Oswego County Citadel, 73 W. Second St., Oswego. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is provided at no cost to the community
Oswego firefighters continued their annual tradition of assisting the Human Concerns Center on East Fourth Street to help those less fortunate at Thanksgiving. On Tuesday, they helped provide a holiday meal basket for more than 240 area families.
Emily Bradshaw is continuing her mission to help the area homeless just in time for the holidays. She recently presented dozens of personal care bags to Oswego Middle School and Oswego High School. Fifty bags were given to the Fulton high school and 100 bags will handed out on Thanksgiving at the Salvation Army.
