Once again, Fulton Community Theatre presents its long-running cabaret, “An Evening on Broadway!” a dinner theatre experience that is sure to please all ages. This year’s theme is “What’s up the Street” as a cast of very talented performers brings to you the music of those shows who started their run off Broadway.
I would like to sincerely thank all the residents of the village of Pulaski for all their support, the time they took to vote and their kind responses when I was knocking on their doors.
Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11, Pulaski, will celebrate 20 years of service with a 20 Years On the Hill Celebration Weekend that begins November 17 with a 6:30 p.m. concert with inspirational hearing-impaired singer and national recording artist Sherry Anne.

Buccaneer excellence was on display and broadcast throughout Central New York today (Nov 9) as WSYR NewsChannel 9’s “Cool Schools Live” featured Oswego High School. Meteorologist Kate Thornton was on campus starting at 4:45 a.m. for a live weather update before heading inside to meet with some of OHS’ best and brightest for live segments during the NewsChannel 9 morning news.
On Saturday, the Oswego Sub Shop Peewees traveled to the Ice House in Binghamton to take on the Binghamton Junior Devils emerging victorious with a score of 4-3. On Sunday The Sub Shop Peewees hosted Clinton at the Crisafulli rink. The Oswego squad battled for two periods in a close game, before scoring six straight goals in the third to earn the 9-2 victory.
Near the end of her presentation to seventh graders at Central Square Middle School on Wednesday, WSYR Meteorologist Kate Thornton was asked by a student about her favorite part of the job. “Honestly, doing events like this,” Thornton said. “Getting out of the studio, being able to talk to kids and hopefully inspire them to pursue a career in STEM (science, math, engineering or technology).”
The Mexico Academy and Central School District is proud to have had three varsity football team members play in the Senior All-Star Football game recently in Watertown.
Fulton Police Officer Jeremy Hutchinson, assigned as the School Resource Officer at G. Ray Bodley High School, recently visited freshman and sophomores who are taking the Seminar course. He discussed cyber-bullying, laws about taking photos, his role as an STP and he answered questions from the students.
