Students from Pulaski Middle School, including several student government participants, teamed up with community members to help the Pulaski Lions Club fill holiday food and gift boxes for local families.
Paul V. Moore High School Student Government has teamed up once again with the American Red Cross to help save hundreds of lives. Students hosted a blood drive that received the support of more than 70 teachers and students.

Members of the Oswego City School District’s Athletics Department are making their impact felt outside the gym this holiday season as student-athletes and coaches are pitching on service and charity efforts throughout their community. Bucs from all sports have been involved in the effort, said OCSD Director of Physical Education and Athletics Rhonda Bullard.
“Our students recognize that these are the men and women who are working each day to make our community safer and we wanted to show them we appreciate them during the holiday time,” said OMS Principal Mary Beth Fierro.
For students at Pulaski Academy and Central School District, the joy of reading will now be coupled with the thrill of competition. Twenty-one sixth grade students at Pulaski Middle School will compete in a Battle of the Books event, the first time the district has participated in the program.
