Calvary Baptist Church, 5353 US Route 11, Pulaski, will celebrate 20 years of service with a 20 Years On the Hill Celebration Weekend that begins November 17 with a 6:30 p.m. concert with inspirational hearing-impaired singer and national recording artist Sherry Anne.

Fulton Community Theatre is proud to announce its 28th season with a lineup of sure to please shows for the 2018 season. FCT has entered into a new relationship with the Fulton Polish Home and will be performing many of its shows in this wonderful new venue.

Meteorologist Kate Thornton was on campus starting at 4:45 a.m. for a live weather update before heading inside to meet with some of OHS’ best and brightest for live segments during the NewsChannel 9 morning news.
On Saturday, the Oswego Sub Shop Peewees traveled to the Ice House in Binghamton to take on the Binghamton Junior Devils emerging victorious with a score of 4-3. On Sunday The Sub Shop Peewees hosted Clinton at the Crisafulli rink. The Oswego squad battled for two periods in a close game, before scoring six straight goals in the third to earn the 9-2 victory.
Near the end of her presentation to seventh graders at Central Square Middle School on Wednesday, WSYR Meteorologist Kate Thornton was asked by a student about her favorite part of the job. “Honestly, doing events like this,” Thornton said. “Getting out of the studio, being able to talk to kids and hopefully inspire them to pursue a career in STEM (science, math, engineering or technology).”
The Mexico Academy and Central School District is proud to have had three varsity football team members play in the Senior All-Star Football game recently in Watertown.
Fulton Police Officer Jeremy Hutchinson, assigned as the School Resource Officer at G. Ray Bodley High School, recently visited freshman and sophomores who are taking the Seminar course. He discussed cyber-bullying, laws about taking photos, his role as an STP and he answered questions from the students.
St. Luke Health Services in Oswego will host a workshop featuring the St. Luke Family of Caring Palliative Care Team, led by Dr. Renante Ignacio, MD., as they discuss advance care planning and advanced directives. The workshop will take place on November 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Large Conference Room at St. Luke. The workshop is free of charge and the public is invited to attend.
