The coalition has information on programs to improve balance, identify proactive measures, and increase your confidence in falls prevention. It serves Oswego County residents by providing information on services that are available in the community to help prevent falls and increase balance.

The Cornerstone Club Social Day Program Helps Make Exercise a Part of Daily Routines

For adults who are isolated or are experiencing limitations due to a functional impairment such as a stroke, or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related illnesses, the opportunity to engage in regular physical activities or exercise can be limited. But thanks to a new program recently opened and now serving older adults in Oswego County, exercise and physical activities structured around social interaction is built right into the daily schedule.

Bodley Seminar Course Supports 9th, 10th Graders
