At the request of its nine component school districts, the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation will unveil a full-day regional technical high school this fall. The traditional half-day CTE model will still exist, but the new regional technical high school option will offer innovative instruction to ninth through 12th grade students in a non-traditional education setting.
More than 80 student performers took the stage in a grand finale combined group of middle and high school concert bands to top off the evening of incredible music.
Senior loan officer Alisa Morgan and business development specialist Danielle Hayden of Oswego County Federal Credit Union visited with multiple classes at CiTi to teach some college and career readiness practices, including how to save funds and how to apply for financial aid.
The second annual Wine Gala will be held at Fulton Public Library on April 29 from 6 to 9 p.m.
A stunning eco-drive wristwatch by Citizen, courtesy of DuFore’s for Diamonds in Oswego will be among the fabulous prizes awarded during St. Luke’s “Bundle of Bucks” Charity Raffle Party taking place on May 6. In addition to prize giveaways at the event, the raffle will award a total of $25,000 in cash among 15 lucky winners.

Oswego County New Horizons Band is preparing to for its spring and summer concerts for seniors’ homes, luncheons, and nursing homes around Oswego County. The band consists of 40 seniors from around the area including Cayuga and Onondaga counties.
Exceptional effort in the classroom, academic excellence and character were in focus during a SPARK Award ceremony at John C. Birdlebough High School in mid-April. Nearly three dozen students received recognition through the awards program for the third marking period.
St. Luke Health Services in Oswego will host a workshop featuring Dr. Renante Ignacio, who will discuss advance care planning and advanced directives. The workshop will take place on May 10 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the Riverview Room at St. Luke. The workshop is free of charge and the public is invited to attend.
