Musician, entertainer and instructor Larry Rapshaw has found a new group of eager students ready to learn to play the piano; it’s the residents at St. Francis Commons Assisted Living Residence.
The inaugural “Bring Your Parent to School” day at G. Ray Bodley High School proved to be a hit with the students, their peers and the parents, as they, too, hustled in the hallways in between classes, provided input to classroom lessons and immersed themselves into the high school culture.

The Central Square School District homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. During this time, County Route 12 from Paul V. Moore High School to US Route 11, to the Central Square Post Office and Hillcrest Drive, will be closed due to the parade traffic.
Danielle Mather, a 2011 graduate of Oswego High School, and a May 2015 graduate of Gannon University with a BS in Health Sciences has graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in August 2016 from Gannon University.
Students at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School are committed to increasing literacy in the Phoenix community by placing little libraries throughout the village.
