The Pulaski Public Library Annual Book Sale will be July 21 – 23 at the Snow Memorial Building Auditorium, 4917 Jefferson St., Pulaski. Hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, magazines, DVDs, puzzles and games will be available for sale. Prices range from 25 cents to $1. This fundraising event is sponsored by the Friends of the Pulaski Public Library.
The class will work on two Birch Trees paintings that will guide you through the steps to complete the finished paintings. Class is set for June 27 from 6-9 p.m. at the Oswego Civic Art Center.
Students from The Sideris Piano Studio will present their annual recital on Sunday, June 12, at The Church of the Resurrection, 120 W. Fifth St. The 3 p.m. program will begin with a tribute to Annelies Marie Frank (Anne Frank) who would have celebrated her 87th birthday on June 12.
Central Square Redhawks were honored at a Senior Athletic Awards Banquet held at Paul V. Moore High School on June 2. Section III Scholar Athlete Awards were given to Brianna Grimes and Stan Kubis for showing outstanding qualities of scholarship and athletic excellence. Grimes will graduate valedictorian of the class and Kubis will rank fourth.
Lakeside Christian Ministries is hosting backyard barbecues every Sunday evening from June 26 through Sept. 4. The barbecues will take place at the home of Pastor Chuck and Betsy Copps, 38 Bakeman St., Fulton.
