The Paul V. Moore High School wind ensemble, percussion ensemble and brass ensemble performed for all the third graders across the Central Square School District in what is known as the “Third Grade Demonstration Concert” recently.
The hallways were filled with student artwork, and students had the opportunity to show their parents the projects there were working on in class.
The Central Square Redhawk Community ran the race to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society at their second annual Redhawk Relay, held at Paul V. Moore High School stadium May 20.
Student safety is a top priority at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School. Several fourth grade students were recently recognized by school counselor Nora Germain for their participation in the AAA School Safety Patrol throughout the 2015-2016 school year.
Physical education teacher Corry Zion said all of the honorees have demonstrated respect, responsibility and problem solving skills daily.
City of Fulton Mayor Ronald Woodward Sr. visited Fairgrieve Elementary School students to discuss what it means to be a good citizen. He commended students for showing respect to their community and country.
The Hastings-Mallory Elementary School Fourth and Fifth Grade Chorus and Band recently gave a rousing performance to their peers, as a preview of the annual spring show for parents and community members.

You may have seen them running in Oswego with their American flags flying and wondered who are these people clad in red, white and blue. They are the Oswego chapter of Team Red, White and Blue, a national non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
