Oswego Industries, Inc. and ARC of Oswego County welcome new executive director/CEO Mike Szpak, only the agency’s third in its history.
ARC of Oswego County will be hosting a free concert for the public featuring FLAME, a group from upstate New York made up of 10 people with developmental/physical disabilities, including autism, Down’s syndrome, and blindness.
School Principal Bob Briggs presented the role model students with certificates during a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) character education assembly that took place at the school on September 28.

On September 28, the Oswego City Police Department responded to a 911 dispatch for a burglary in progress at a private residence. Upon their arrival, a neighbor told police they observed two people enter the residence
while the owner was not there.

Volney Elementary School recently held a special recognition ceremony for students in the school to honor those students selected by their teachers for working hard to improve and modeling the school’s motto of “Do your best!”
