At 9:24 a.m.today (Sept. 20), Nine Mile Point Unit 1 experienced an automatic reactor shut down. The preliminary data indicates the unit experienced a Turbine trip, but the exact cause has not yet been identified, according to company spokesperson Jill Lyon.
The annual Coin and Collectible Show will again be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Fulton Municipal Building Community Room at 141 S First St., Fulton. There is free admission and parking.
Oswego County BOCES students in Lynne Wilson’s summer school classroom participated in a project based learning assignment. It benefited the dogs, cats and other animals cared for and waiting for adoption through the Oswego County SPCA.

The annual meeting of the society was sparsely attended with only 21 present. President Doyle was unable to attend as he was forced into work and Vice President Monette was out of town. So, Trustee Margaret Kastler ran the meeting.
