Guiding Eyes for the Blind Congratulates Ross Rupert And His Guide Dog, Sparky

Today (September 18), Guiding Eyes for the Blind welcomed the September 2017 class of graduates, a group of 17 individuals paired with exceptionally trained guide dogs. Among this month’s graduates is Ross Rupert, a resident of Oswego, who traveled to the Guiding Eyes headquarters for Residential Training with his guide dog, Sparky.

Staff From Across the St. Luke Healthcare Campus Complete Emergency Preparedness, Safety Training

September is National Preparedness Month and staff at St. Luke Health Services, St. Francis Commons and Bishop’s Commons recently completed emergency and safety training exercises across their healthcare campus. Russell Phillips & Associates, a Rochester, N.Y.-based consulting firm with expertise in fire and disaster preparation and prevention provided the training.
