School District, Public Library Partner To Encourage Summer Reading

The Fulton City School District has formed a partnership with the Fulton Public Library to ensure local children avoid the “summer slide.”

This partnership can be successful with the support of parents and guardians, who may encourage reading throughout the summer months so their child doesn’t regress academic achievement made throughout the 2016-2017 school year.

Breakfast To Benefit Child Advocacy Center

On July 2 the Clubhouse Tavern / Spencer’s Ali, 126 W. Second St., will host a breakfast for one of Oswego County’s most vital resources, the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County. This Sunday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Clubhouse Tavern / Spencer’s Ali and the CAC invite community members to join them for a breakfast to benefit the CAC and its efforts to eliminate child abuse in Oswego County.
